Motherhood

Everything animal, species, mammal, and especially humans are brought into this world by their mother.
As humans we generally form bonds with our mothers in the womb and they just strengthen from there.
Mother daughter relationships can be both difficult and amazing. I know because I have 2 daughters!...No matter how old one is when you feel in need your natural impulse is to want the warmth and comfort of your mother. I know it is for me at 52 yrs old.
Many of us have lost our mothers and wish for 5 more minutes.
Some of us have aging, ailing mothers, realizing they may not be with us much longer.
As my mother lies in the hospital for too many times it makes me just realize how lucky I am to have her. And appreciate all that she's taught me and molded me into who I am.
It also makes me strive to be a better mother and leave my children a better person because I was there mother.
Mom..you and I have not always seen eye to eye.. but, you've always loved me when I was unlovable, forgave me when I was unforgivable and picked me up when I couldn't stand alone!
Praying for your recovery and loving and appreciating you more than I ever have!

Integrity

Thanksgiving 2013
What is integrity? We all use the words but few really live up to it.
I've always considered myself a person of integrity...but recently failed the test...allowing my emotions to control my actions.
Sometimes life throws us curve balls to waken us up teach us a lesson..and show us we're not all we think we are.
Humility is needed to maintain integrity..I didn't realize that. Lesson learned!
In every lesson there's a silver lining...and if the lesson is applied...there is a strength.
I'm going through one of the most difficult times in my life...as hard as it is I've learned there's much to be done in my life...and never judge anyone because you don't know what brought them to where they are now.
Its the holidays...time for forgiveness... thankfulness.
Even though I'm hurting I'm thankful for the experience I just had..there was so much good...so much enrichment. I was helped through the most difficult of times.
I believe God puts people in our lives for a reason... I'll always look back on the positive and hope I contributed something good as well to this persons life.
Life is all about seasons.. even with people...they may only be in your life for a season...but regardless..they help make you the person you are...and for that be thankful!!
 Integrity...is far more than a word...an action..its a minute by minute  challenge.
This Thanksgiving be thankful for all of lives experiences...practice forgiveness and work on your personal integrity.
Thank you all who follow and read my blog!!!

The verdict for Jodi Arias is guilty of murder one, as I had predicted, shockingly the jury hung on the penalty phase! So now we wait until late September for jury selection for a new jury to determine her fate, life without parole, or death. Many think life is enough of a punishment, while others feel the ultimate punishment is a life for a life.
I've never really been in favor of the death penalty, but, after attending the Arias trial and being privy to the gruesome crime scene photos I advocate it in the particular case.
Being on death row, for how ever long she is there leaves her with far less privledges than that of an inmate in general population, and due to the nature of her crime, I do not believe she deserves the liberties of interacting with the general population and all the amenities that come along with it.
Attending the trial on a regular basis, changed my life in so many ways, and my future blogs will elaborate on that more, the main thing that stood out to me most, that I will carry with me, is that I have never faced evil in the eye like that, before. Jodi makes eye contact with you, blatently stares you down, there is nothing there, her eyes are cold, empty and evil, upon making eye contact with her, you know that you are looking in the eyes of a killer. I will never forget those eyes.
I have followed and blogged about many trials over the years, but, I must say I have found the Arias trial the most fascinating, maybe because I attended, I'm not sure, there was an awful lot of twists and turns connected to it, inside and outside the court room, and continues to be, and I don't expect anything less once the penalty phase begins.
I intend to take this time to try and catch up with my blogging before court procedures begin again, so please check back often or click the follow link so you get alerts!

#jodiarias

Welcome to my blog!...I am a true crime junkie, trial watcher, & blogger, I haven't blogged since #caseyanthony trial, due to the sickness & death of my husband.
I am living on the edge in Phoenix, AZ, and have been attending the Jodi Arias trial, what started out as curiosity  has become an addiction!!
Upon my first day arriving in the court room #justicefortravis Jodi Arias stared me & my daughter down for a good 10 seconds, I have never  seen evil like that before, her eyes are cold & dark, there is nothing there, empty, soulless, that night I was unable to sleep!,zzzzz, now if #nurmi was talking, I would have slept!!

The shenanigans that go on between Jodi's mother & aunt is so disrespectful, if my daughter were on trial for murder, the last thing I would be doing is laughing in the court room, not just once, but, daily!...On the other hand, The Alexander family has so much class & dignity they are kind, loving people, that never even look at the defendant's family. I have gotten to know Tanisha, and she is such a sweetheart,,,Asking the family to remove their blue ribbons was heartless, I am glad they refused, unfortunately, the gallery had to comply. I was given a blue ribbon by Tanisha, and I intend to wear it proudly to court next week, and if I am asked to remove it, I suppose I will have to.

Between Jodi's pill popping, stealing papers, and sitting on folders, I think it is time to put her in cuffs, hey maybe Jodi stole #nancygrace necklace!!

And futher more, Jodi has decided court ends at 4:30, when all other court rooms end at 5:00 in Maricopa County??? AND....Jodi wants lunch...Sheriff Joe does NOT give lunch to inmates that are on trial...me thinks, ma'am #jaunmartinez has a little too much control in the court room 5th floor, Superior Court of Arizona....do you have a memory problem....??????
